We Become What We Behold

Game Features
One Camera, One Society
You do not control the crowd directly; you choose what gets shown, and the crowd reacts like a tiny social system.
Media Feedback Loop
Every photo becomes a broadcast, and every broadcast changes behavior—simple rules, nasty consequences.
Short But Sharp Structure
It only needs a few minutes to make its point, which is why this story-driven game sticks harder than many longer ones.
Great First-Time Shock
The less you know going in, the better; the escalation from harmless snapshots to social panic is the whole trick.

What is We Become What We Behold?
We Become What We Behold is one of those tiny browser games I still recommend because it understands restraint. You have a camera. A small crowd wanders around. You take a picture. The picture goes on TV. Then the crowd learns from what you decided was “news.”
That is the whole machine, and it is enough. A hat becomes a trend, anger spreads faster than calm, and your framing choices turn a harmless public square into a spiral. If you like games that turn observation into consequence, it belongs near That's Not My Neighbor, No, I'm not a Human, and the more morally uncomfortable parts of BLOODMONEY!.
How to Play We Become What We Behold

1) Move the camera over the little square-and-round people walking around the screen.
2) Click when you see something interesting. Your photo appears on the TV in the center.
3) Watch how the crowd reacts to what you broadcast; that reaction is the real simulation.
4) Keep choosing what deserves attention. Trends, fear, anger, and imitation all start from your framing.
5) Do not rush the ending. The best first playthrough is slow enough to notice how one small photo changes the next scene.
